New Zealand Diving & Salvage Ltd is serious about improving worker safety, reducing workplace risks and creating better, safer working conditions.  We have in place well established policies and procedures that are accredited to ISO 45001 standard to back this up.  Our occupational diving operations run to the organisational and logistical requirements of the AS/NZS 2299 standard.

NZDS is compliant with many pre-qualification schemes including Sitewise and Totika as well as being pre-qualified by many large clients.

For almost four decades, we have provided personnel for inland water, subsea, vessels, and marine construction activities. The environment in which we operate is recognised as hazardous and can be extremely harsh and unforgiving. Despite this, safety has become our signature brand, providing assurance to clients.

SAFETY FIRST is the focus of the company’s undertakings and attitude of our workers.

Our entire operation is organised to ensure our business is conducted safely. Personnel are well trained and highly motivated, equipment is correctly designed and maintained, well developed procedures and systems are key to safely conducting our daily operations.

We are constantly vigilant to ensure risks are identified and removed or mitigated in our working environments. We have a strong inherent safety culture and are committed to being injury free.
