Incorporated almost four decades ago, New Zealand Diving and Salvage Ltd has carried out over 2700 projects and is active nation-wide and in the Pacific, counting on a pool of talented and committed personnel throughout New Zealand.

Our drive is to incorporate Quality and Safety in every decision we make. We stand out from our competition, rather than follow the traditional context of typically perceived Quality and Safety, and our small closely knitted team is making sure that this distance between us and our industry competitors is astronomical. Quality is our signature brand.

We have an integrated Quality and Safety footprint in all of our contracts and they are built on the six fundamental principles:

Initial Assessment, Communication and Verification with the Client, Detail Design Planning (2nd Stage Detail Design), Operational Implementation, Reporting, Operational Analysis and Feedback.

These principles form the spine of our Quality and Safety System, around which the overall Integrated Management System is built. Our Quality Management Systems are audited regularly by Lloyd’s Register, internationally credible and registered certification service. Our Quality Management System is also certified against the International Standards Organization (ISO) Management Systems.

These well established policies and procedures are accredited to SGS Quality Assurance ISO 9001:2015.

All NZDS vessels are operated under the  Maritime Operator Safety System (MOSS).

We have held approval and certification for over 25 years with the following Class Societies to perform in-water survey works: American Bureau of Shipping, Bureau Veritas, Class Nippon Kaiji Kyokai, Det Norske Veritas · Germanschier Lloyd and Lloyd’s Register.
